Are you ready to become a Virtual Evangelist at Beyond The Walls Int'l church?
Who is a Virtual Evangelist?
At BTWI, we consider a VE to be a believer of Christ who will use social media and any other online platforms to invite other people to our live online worship experiences where they will hear the good news of salvation and the kingdom of God provided by Jesus Christ. An Evangelist in the scripture is someone who shares the good news of salvation in Christ. Therefore, we are using the scripture where Paul instructed Timothy his spiritual son, to do the work of an Evangelist:
2 Timothy 4:5
As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
What do I say to those I will invite?
We will provide you with a short and concise script that you will send to those you are inviting to watch our live worship experience. See below.
How old must I be to sign up?
You must be 16 or older.
What are the requirements to be a VE?
As a VE, we require that you make a commitment to invite at least five (5) New persons every week. Pray before you send out the invites that the Lord will touch the hearts of those you send it to. You should send out your initial invite on either Monday or Tuesday. You would do a follow-up reminder on Saturday. Don't worry, you will have a script for the reminder as well. See below.
Do I send the invites to anyone in the US or global?
We encourage you to target people who live in the same city of the church's location or neighboring cities. This way, these people will be more likely to visit our ministry in their local area.
What if I get a negative response?
We do expect that will happen. However, if that should happen, you simply discontinue any further communication with such individuals and move on to the next.
What if the person wants to get into further personal conversations?
Your goal is to simply invite them to tune in to our ministry's live worship experience. We discourage that you be drawn into any further personal conversation. If they have questions pertaining to the faith or church that you are not sure of, please direct them to the ministry leaders or pastors.
Should I send the invitation to both genders?
No. We ask that males invite males and female invite females.
